There is no term to this agreement and the client or ACME Cleaners TNT. You may cancel your service at any time. ACME Cleaners TNT also reserves the right to cancel your service at any time.
We will provide all cleaning supplies, vacuums, and equipment, except for garbage bags and paper towels. Special products you wish us to use must be supplied by you as well. Should you wish for us to use one of your products, please notify the office. If you request your supplies or equipment, including vacuum cleaners, you agree not to hold ACME Cleaners TNT or any of its personnel responsible for damage to any article or component.
We will arrive on the day scheduled as requested and agreed upon; however, ACME Cleaners TNT reserves the right to close our office at any time, due to inclement weather.
OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU
We are confident in our work and are committed to providing superior service. ACME Cleaning TNT offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied, contact us immediately or within 24 hours and we will come back and re-clean the areas that did not satisfy you. We strive for 100% Satisfaction. If for some reason our quality does not meet your approval, contact us within 24 hours to make arrangements to have the problem resolved quickly. Customer satisfaction is priority one. ACME Cleaners TNT strives to surpass industry standard.
We do not allow anyone into the residence without explicit direction from our client. We also ask that you inform the office of expected service and delivery persons or if someone will be in the home working or visiting upon cleaners’ arrival.
Please leave payment on your kitchen counter for the team. A $35.00 fee will be assessed for any checks returned by your bank. All prior balances must be cleared, before the next service.
JOB START/END TIMES
Arrival Time: Cleaning service occurs between 9am- 6pm on your regularly scheduled day. Given that each home that we clean varies in the amount of time it takes to clean, we cannot guarantee an exact time that we will arrive.
For hourly jobs, we charge from the time we arrive on the job, which includes unloading of our supplies and equipment from our vehicle, to the time we have finished cleaning, including the loading of supplies back into our vehicle.
CLEANING FEE INCREASES
ACME Cleaners TNT reserves the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the time it is taking to perform our service to meet the Client’s standards. We will monitor the actual cleaning time for the first two months and occasionally thereafter. We will contact you to discuss possible price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs drastically from the original bid.
SKIPPED OR MISSED CLEANING VISITS
If you skip a cleaning, a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visit, additional time will be required to clean and you'll be charged at our hourly rate for the time it takes to complete task requested. This includes skipped cleans due to vacation. When back on your normal cycle, your normal rate resumes.
LATE CANCELLATIONS/ LOCKOUT FEES
We require a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice (holidays and weekends included). If you need to cancel or would like to reschedule your appointment, please phone or email the office directly at 614-557-0849, firstname.lastname@example.org

We understand schedules change. Cancellations less than 48 hours, last minute cancellations, or same day cancellations are subject to a $40 cancellation fee. The same fee will be charged if we cannot gain access to your home when cleaners arrive. In addition if we wait for you to open door to property this time will be assessed to your final payment
Please note: If frequency of scheduled cleaning changes or is reduced (eg. weekly will become monthly only) fee charged will also be adjusted.
If you would like to cease receiving service temporarily, long-term or permanently we request 2 weeks’ notice.
To avoid cancellation fee, the option of a reschedule is an alternative. Following clean after the rescheduled clean will resume on normal cleaning schedule.
If someone in your home is sick (contagious) please contact our office and we will be happy to reschedule your cleaning. Following clean after the rescheduled clean will resume on normal cleaning schedule.
Please call us in advance for special requests (i.e. after construction, refrigerator cleaning, inside of oven, inside windows, garage, extra rooms) so we can schedule the time needed to complete these items. Extra charges will apply. We will try to estimate for you on the phone but in some cases, we may have to charge by the hour depending on the task.
While we make every effort not to break or damage items, accidents do happen. Identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed. For this reason we request all irreplaceable items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valued) be stored and/or not cleaned by our staff. ACME Cleaning TNT must be notified within 48 hours of service if damage is discovered.
Our personnel are instructed to call our office once ANYTHING is damaged and to leave a note to you advising you of the incident. We reserve the option of repair or replace. ACME Cleaning TNT is not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of items, or for maintenance of your home (normal wear and tear that comes with age and use).
Sometimes breakage occurs when there are “booby traps”. Those are accidents waiting to happen. We are often handling things that aren’t normally touched (pictures not hung securely (e.g. with thumb tacks), top heavy items with unstable bases, wobbly, tippy objects). Each incident is reviewed on a case by case basis. We cannot take responsibility for “booby traps”. Please remove unstable breakables to a place we do not clean (we do not clean inside curios, china cabinets or clear wet bar shelves).
Please inform us if any items in your home are broken or improperly installed such as; blinds, tiles, curtain rods, loose carpet, glass shower door falls off hinges when opened, hot water faucet is reversed with cold water, exposed wiring, picture frame is already broken and should not be moved, etc.
CLUTTER/ HOUSE PREP
It would be appreciated if items were picked up off the floor and dressers and counters were not piled with too much clutter before we arrive. This allows the cleaning staff to clean more thoroughly. Please secure cash, jewelry and other small valuables.
If you are a client who wants their bed sheets changed, please pull off used sheets and pillow cases. Lay out clean sheets and pillow cases on empty bed for changing. We do not pull dirty sheets off of beds due to dust, hair, and dead skin cells that float into the air for us to breath into our lungs.
In the summer months it would be appreciated if you would set your air conditioner at an appropriate temperature. If for some reason you do not want a particular room cleaned, please just leave a note for the staff and we will honor that request.
PETS AND PLANTS
Pets are not a problem. We Love your pets. We do need to know if you have them and we would like to have the names for reference. We do not clean up after sick pets or pet accidents. Also, if any pet is aggressive we ask that you secure them while we are cleaning your home. If they are friendly we will be happy to clean around them. Our teams are instructed not to enter a house if they believe an animal is a threat. Please remember that pets may behave differently if a family member is not present. Due to the individual care that plants require, we are not able to maintain them.
ITEMS THAT WE WILL NOT CLEAN/CANNOT DO
We have instructed our staff to leave certain items untouched, such as items or areas containing any body fluids or excretions, litter boxes and mold. If your pet has an accident or vomits, it will be your responsibility to clean it up, our teams are advised to clean around these areas.
Seasonal insect infestation can also be a problem and may prevent us from completely cleaning your home. If ants, termites, roaches, fleas, etc., are encountered, we will not clean or vacuum the area. We will leave you a note, or call you regarding the problem. If you have other items you prefer not cleaned or handled, please call the office and we will arrange to avoid those items.
Our employees cannot climb higher than a step stool, work on the outside of your home, move furniture that contains electronics, lift any objects over 20 pounds, prepare meals, or provide any pet or children-related services.
We are happy to vacuum under your furniture or appliances if said objects are moved out upon arrival. We do not move furniture or appliances due to weight requirements, possibility of damaging the floor, and the concern of damaging the furniture or appliance.
HIRING OF ACME Cleaners TNT STAFF
All of our employees have signed a Non-Compete agreement with ACME Cleaners TNT. They are prohibited from soliciting business from any client on his/her own behalf or on behalf of any third party during their employment with ACME Cleaners TNT or for 2 years following termination of employment, without written approval from ACME Cleaners TNT and a possible placement fee of $1,000.00. You agree not to hire past or present employees of ACME Cleaners TNT for a period of not less than 2 years from the date the employee last worked for ACME Cleaners TNT. A great deal of time and resources are put into hiring our staff. In the event you feel you must hire an employee of ACME Cleaners TNT in spite of this agreement, then a $2500.00 placement fee is due immediately upon employment of the past/present employee, regardless of whether the employment is regular or on a contract basis.
Cleaning Techs: There will generally be 1 – 4 Cleaning Techs assigned to your home during and after the First Time Clean.
Although gratuity is not expected or required, the team members certainly welcome it! A great way to show the team your appreciation is with gratuity. The amount of gratuity is split equally among the members of the team. You may leave a cash gratuity for the team (preferred method) or add the gratuity to your payment by specifying the amount on the check. 10 – 15% is the general rule of thumb. As a large % of the cleaning service rate goes to overhead expenses (Worker’s Comp, Liability, Payroll Taxes, Training Costs, etc.)
Even if you don’t tip each time your house cleaner shows up, you may want to include a tip during the holidays. In this case, a tip is more of a thank you gift. This tip can be as small as a few dollars or as large as the amount you’d pay for one visit.
In severe weather, we may determine it is not safe to travel and/or carry equipment and supplies to your home and cancel that day’s service. When this occurs, we will try to reschedule. Please assist us with your understanding in rescheduling. Following clean after the rescheduled clean will resume on normal cleaning schedule.
We generally do not provide service on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. However, we will do our best to accommodate with advance notice. Our rate will double on these days. During those holiday weeks our schedule is very full; we try to reschedule your clean to avoid any skipped cleans.
Vacation Time for ACME Cleaning TNT
Employees of ACME Cleaning TNT do take vacations and/or long weekends. During this time we will give you the option of having another cleaner clean your home, or reschedule your clean to avoid any skipped cleans. We will give you (the client) prompt notice of the vacation time needed. Following clean after the rescheduled clean will resume on normal cleaning schedule.
CUSTOMER REFERRAL PROGRAM
Every time you refer a new client to us who uses our services, you receive $20 credit towards your next cleaning service to be applied after ACME Cleaning TNT has completed your friend’s third cleaning.
